Each year nominations are submitted to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Walk of Fame selection committee. Anyone, including fans, can nominate anyone active in the field of entertainment as long as the nominee or their management approves the nomination.
After a recent healthy in-house debate about whether or not getting commemorated on the Hollywood Walk of Fame star feels watered down now, we decided to do some more research and the results were shocking.

Please note: Some of these names were nominated for a star in the past but turned down their spot or never accepted a public ceremony. Also note that some would argue Beyonce has one because Destiny’s Child received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006, however Beyoncé has yet to receive one for her work as a solo artist.
