Excellent question. I would say Vimeo , YouTube, Facebook groups, and Instagram are amazing platforms especially when new content is posted consistently. New audience can be reached with just a few clicks.
Yes , I’ve had the most luck with YouTube and Instagram . I’ve gained a small new number of subscribers and followers but most importantly a lot of folks reach out directly to collaborate because they’ve noticed some of the recent work I’ve been putting out .
Constantly release, post, and put out creative content. Collaborate with as many artists, creatives as possible.
Wrestling with writer’s block. When it happens, it is a never-ending battle. I always look for new ways to get inspired and motivated. Books, documentaries, and older / newer indie films usually help with that.
Relationships are everything. The more I collaborate with creatives and artists, the more I learn and discover different styles of filmmaking and unique stories.
